Stephen H. Wilkinson
President/Owner
A U.S. Navy veteran, Stephen Wilkinson launched into the security business in 1996 first working with industry leaders such as Medeco Security Locks, Best Access Systems, and Stanley Security Solutions. He saw an industry on the verge of big change and brought his naval discipline and entrepreneurial business sense from Ole Miss to Richmond when he acquired Richmond Security in 2007. Maintaining its standard as a Richmond leader in safes and mechanical locks, Stephen seized the opportunity to arise as the regional leader in access control and emerging security technologies.
Corey Boggs
General Manager
A Richmond native, Corey joined our team in 2019. With over 20 years of experience in Electronic Security, he is poised to lead and grow our Electronic Access Control (EAC) team into the future. Corey has an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. His business acumen and people skills have already made an impact. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, spending time with his wife and 4 children, and serving in his local church.
Matt Savino
Vice President of Sales and Business Development
As Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Matt is responsible for leading RSI’s sales and business development team to meet the company’s strategic plan. Matt has 30+ years of experience in the public safety, security, and AV field. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration enhancing his knowledge in the security industry. Prior to joining RSI Matt has run a security and consulting company where he provided security assessments, worked on company business development and strategic plans, defined enhanced security measures for companies, created security policies and procedures, and installed security systems to meet the new assessed requirements. Matt also spent many years working as chief of electronic security for the VA Department of Corrections where he oversaw electronic security systems for one of the largest prison systems in the country. Matt has also held Sales engineer and project engineer positions for companies such as Bell Atlantic (currently Verizon) where he led a team designing and deploying ATM and IP networks and AV systems. Matt’s diverse experience in sales, marketing, and business development through operations management and installation provides customers with comprehensive knowledge from inception through the entire system life cycle.
Michael Moran
Manager/Service Coordinator for MAC
With almost four decades of service to Richmond Security, Michael serves on our front lines with our customers. When he’s not traveling, playing with his pups or watching sports in his free time, Michael is taking those years of experience and coordinating exceptional service for customers.
Todd Miller
Director of Operations
A Mississippi native and Ole Miss alum, Todd oversees day-to-day operations while also helping to drive the strategic vision of the company. Todd keeps a finger on the pulse of the organization, ensuring the team is positioned to offer the best products and service to Richmond Security customers. Married to Michelle, Todd enjoys golf and college sports – especially his Ole Miss Rebels.
Jesse Whitener
Shop Supervisor
Jesse’s is the first face you’ll see when entering the Richmond Security showroom. Whether you are having trouble with a lock, need some keys copied, or need practical advice on high-end safes in our showroom, Jesse’s infectious positive attitude will make you feel right at home. He’s also a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan.
Ben Reams
Residential & Commercial Sales
Ben Reams is a lifelong resident of Powhatan, Virginia. He joins the Richmond Security team after a very successful 38-year career at Richmond Alarm Company where he designed and sold residential and commercial systems. In his new role, Ben will be putting his Customer Service First mentality to work in growing Richmond Security’s residential and small commercial customer base.
David Frietsch
Purchasing Manager
From apprentice locksmith in 1981 to Richmond Security Purchasing Manager and father of three grown children, NoVa native David Frietsch knows the ins and outs of what it means to really be secure. He works closely with our customers to understand their needs and make sure the proper equipment is there to do the job right.
