Richmond Security Runs to Fight Hunger

Richmond, VA (April 25, 2017) – For more than 40 years local security company, Richmond Security, has worked to ensure that area homes and commercial buildings alike are set up with the right tools to ensure their clients are secure.

However, there is another security that is needed that doesn’t deal with safes or keyless entry systems…it’s the security in knowing where your next meal is coming from. It’s called “food insecurity.”

Richmond Security has once again partnered with FeedMore to raise awareness and funds to help combat hunger in our community. This time they are also supporting the efforts of one of their employees. Bill Deutsch and his son Rostik are stepping up, well actually, lacing up, to help stomp out food insecurity.

Together, Bill and Rostik will participate in competitive level obstacle course races running over 80 miles and 300 obstacles in competitions throughout Virginia and North Carolina with the goal of competing in the Obstacle Course Race National Championships in Ontario, Canada all while raising money for FeedMore.

President and owner of Richmond Security, Stephen Wilkinson shares, “Most of us never consider the fact that there are hunger issues that exist in our own community. Supporting Bill and Rostik on Team RSI helps to give children a nutritional foundation to learn and grow, bring security to families, and provide seniors with independence to live in dignity and health.“

The public can donate to their effort through the FeedMore website at All donations will go to the FeedMore organization.
